In June I was in full swing with summer classes, crazy work schedules and even a new boyfriend later in the month. I had a lot of fun this month, lots of concerts and music to keep me up.
Francia RaisaThis is a girl I went to high school with for about a year or two. Her little sister was my best friend freshman through sophomore year, and now she’s gaining popularity. It was an impromptu interview, and I gained honest insight into the life of a celebrity. http://bit.ly/ct93TZ
Student WebsitesThis was one of my most popular viewed articles and is an excellent example of power of social media for networking. I “followed” a random person on Twitter from Campus Circle’s account, and we started talking about collaboration. I originally wanted it to be advertisement sales, but it worked out in a better way. The article gained so much popularity, that it brought many new visitors to the site, making the boss happy. http://bit.ly/c0HAjn
Pitbull
I absolutely love Pitbull. I asked for this concert way in advance, and then I found out the tickets had already gone to another intern, as a special invitation from the publicist himself. OH MAN I almost cried when I found out I couldn’t go. However, that intern said he couldn’t make it and gave me the tickets instead. It was awesome. http://bit.ly/aEIbf6
Me at the concertA Chorus LineMy second visit to the Pantages Theater ever. I went with a friend from USC and we had a good time. http://bit.ly/aAjYoy
Holly’s WorldAnother scheduling fiasco, we ended up doing email interview. The print version of the article was so short, that it honestly wasn’t’ worth sending to the publicist. http://bit.ly/am1N5v
Travie McCoyI got to interview Travie in person! So cool, it was my first time inside of a tour bus, man it was gross. It smelled like Vegas, in the “cigarette smoke and late night” way. Nonetheless, Travis was a very intelligent being, well spoken, and chill. I enjoyed the interview. http://bit.ly/9oTllq
John Morris Aw, John was such a sweet person to talk to. He was the voice of ANDY in the Toy Story trilogy. He is actually a UCLA grad, which I forgave him for. Haha Toy Story was an awesome movie, and a tear jerker. Go watch it if you haven’t! http://bit.ly/9mF4qr
Jack JohnsonMy first CD review. I didn’t really know what to write about, especially since I wasn’t a huge fan. Oh well, free music is always good http://bit.ly/dt1eTH
