The Expendables
Well this was an article that had more effect than I thought. I agreed only to interview the band The Expendables after no one else in the whole list serve wanted to write about them. This was an important article because they were buying the cover for the issue, so it had to be good. I had an interesting phone call with them. It was my first time speaking to a whole band. I wanted to go to the Lupe Fiasco show, but had to go through BoB’s publicist. I did a show review. I would have enjoyed it more had something tragic not happened the night before.

L.A. Salsa Fest
OMG this was such a boring event. I took it because I thought it would be a FESTIVAL like it said it was, but instead it was an amphitheater of boring old people who wanted to sit and listen to salsa music. Who sits during salsa!?! So I interviewed the cute guy of this group, and he was fun to talk to. Nothing much else to say…I was on my friend’s couch in San Francisco when I did it. The show was fun to watch…it was mainly a mob of young teenage girls in dressed in clothes that I’m sure their mothers did not approve of. Ann and I had a good time though.
